Two weekends ago, Evan and I took a little trip down to San Diego to visit my best friend, Ali and her husband, Chad who were in town for a few days. We had the most amazing time. Mostly because they are the most amazing people.
I love staying in hotels and this one is at the top of my list. It was very relaxing and peaceful.

I loved all the fountains and places to sit and enjoy life for a bit.
after lounging at our hotel, we went downtown to meet Ali and Chad where they were staying.
We had fruity, girl drinks...
soaked up some sunshine...
and went out to eat in the gaslamp district.
Isn't it the best when you visit with old friends who know you so well? Ali is coming to visit LA in July. I can't wait. I'm sure we'll go exploring, go out to dinner, shopping, etc. But after, we'll probably just lay in my bed the rest of the time and talk...I can't think of anything I'd rather do more.
